HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Eyelash extensions can last as long as six weeks, typically until the natural lash naturally sheds in its cycle. However, to ensure continuous maintenance and prolong their lifespan, it is advisable to schedule infills approximately every 2 to 4 weeks. The frequency may vary based on individual care practices and the natural lash cycle.

The durability of eyelash extensions is significantly influenced by your maintenance routine. Proper care, including gentle makeup removal, avoiding mascara, refraining from oily products on the face, and not tugging or pulling at the extensions, plays a crucial role. Clients who diligently adhere to these care practices often enjoy eyelash extensions lasting beyond four weeks, showcasing the longevity achievable with extra attention and meticulous care.

WHY DO I NEED INFILLS IF THEY LAST UP TO SIX WEEKS?

The eyelash extensions fall out with your natural lash cycle which is 6-8 weeks, so very gradually, just a few here and there as new baby lashes come through. After 2 or 3 weeks you will start seeing little gaps where the old ones have fallen, and new ones are coming through, so at this point, it’s a good time to get infills, so your lashes always look nice and full.

DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE YOUR NATURAL LASHES?

We apply eyelash extensions with special care, ensuring individual and correct application for the maintenance of your eyelash health. It is highly recommended to follow the technician’s advice on the maximum thickness and length suitable for your natural lashes in the long term. The extensions come off naturally as your natural lashes fall out, and if appropriately weighted extensions are applied, your natural lashes will grow normally.

Listen to the technician’s guidance, especially if you have naturally thin or sparse lashes, regarding how long and heavy you should go. Avoid attempting to remove the eyelash extensions yourself, as it could potentially damage your natural lashes due to the strong adhesive bond.

While some clients may choose longer and thicker lashes against our advice, particularly for thin or fine natural lashes, we will apply the requested lashes within reason. Extra long or thick lashes for one-off or special occasions usually pose no problems, but for long-term wear, it may weaken your lashes. We cannot guarantee their longevity if they are too long or heavy for your natural lashes to support.
